
Carole Mosby
Carole Mosby, 68, of Waterloo formerly of Elgin died Thursday, Jan. 22, at the Dumont Wellness Center, Dumont, Iowa. Carole Beth, the daughter of Gordon and Verna (Yunker) Mosby, was born April 10, 1946 in Postville.
Funeral Services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 26, at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home in Elgin.
Friends were invited to call one-hour before services at the funeral home on Monday.
Interment will be held in the Elgin Cemetery, Elgin.
Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service assisted the family with the arrangements.
Carole worked at Goodwill Industries in Waterloo from 1975 until 2004, she participated in the Choice Program for Exceptional Persons, Inc. from 2004 until 2009 when she entered Dumont Wellness Center. She enjoyed watching television, listening to music, jewelry, and Cabbage Patch dolls. Her nieces and nephews remember her as an avid shopper with a fondness for shoes. She had a childlike heart, a beautiful smile, and was a friend to all.
Carole is survived by nieces and nephews: Jeff (Lynn) Watters, Jenny (Tim) Keith, Scott (Janet) Wright, Terry (Lisa) Wright, David (Laurel) Cannon, Terri (Kris) Bailey, and Michael (Mary) Cannon.
Carole was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Verna; three sisters, Joanne Watters, Marlene Cannon, and Roberta Wright, and nephew, Steve Watters.
