Ronald Schlatter

Ronald Erwin Schlatter, long time farmer, 82, passed away Friday, February 8, 2019.  He was born October 27, 1936 to George and Ruth (Nieman) Schlatter in Hawkeye, Iowa. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth Schlatter; wife’s parents, Floyd and Ivah Lawless; sisters-in-law, Patricia Bindert and Phyllis Schlatter; brothers-in-law, Darold Lawless, Larry Berns and Jim Richards.  Ronald is survived by his wife of 60 years, Connie; sons, Martin (Amelia) Schlatter, Michael (Erin) Schlatter, and Rodney Schlatter; grandchildren, Santana (Dustin) Lindaman, McKennen Lindaman, Reagan Lindaman, Everett Lindaman, Elizabeth Schlatter, Samuel Schlatter, Addison Schlatter, and Jillian Schlatter; brothers, Lavern Schlatter, Russell (Sally) Schlatter; sisters, Marilyn Berns, Evelyn Richards, and Ladonna (Bob) Hough; sisters-in-law, Lois Schlatter and Gloria Lawless; brothers-in-law, Augie Bindert; James (Diane) Lawless, Kenneth (Mary Jane) Lawless, and Jeff (Teresa) Lawless; numerous nieces and nephews; plus Zachary, Corey and Sarenia – heart picked grandkids; and special friends, Emma Batchelder, Dean Johnson, Amber, and Presley.
